But one funny incidence..I was riding ahead and DJ following close to me...saw a peacock on the street getting ready to fly scross the street....I didnt stop....maybe peacock saw 150 following chucked and underestimated DJs speed thought he could fly faster

The end result was peacock flying and hitting head into with DJ's joe rockets.DJ was shaken up(a big bird that it is) and I could see him slow down in my RVM.He rode upto me and narrated the whole event and I thought WTF!!!!!We have dog hits, cattle hits maybe this is a first peacock hit while riding

Hahahhaa .......... that must have been a really crazeee incident ......... a peacock coming out of nowhr n hitting you ....... ROFL ........ DJ bhai is lucky to have survived a peacock hit

Darth! You have no idea how much Anup scared me about this during our Rajasthan trip!
Congratulations on another feather on your cap! By now you should be almost looking like a peacock yourself!

Thanks you folks...here is next installment

After having a bath and all we decided to go around the town at around 1:00 pm...

We got out and caught hold of an autowalla and asked him to take us on a tour of the city for 150 bucks...

We first reached salim haveli and I was very dissapointed that after paying 20 bucks as entrance fee there was nothing much apart from some construction work and clothes hung dry by the family...

Next we went to Gadi Sagar lake.....

The lake was pretty much dry and I was dissapointed again...there was some film shooting going on....

Dissapointed by Salims haveli We went to Pawta Haveli...didnt expect much and I was suprised when I found myself marvelling at the granduer of the haveli from outside....

Stepped inside to marvel at interiors which were equally beautiful

Some more pics from Patwa haveli...

After Patwa haveli we went to another haveli and later to jain temple...didnt go inside the jain temple as were getting hungry.....

Asked the autowala to take us back....tried getting OMR for the night but shop didnt have any Rum had to settle for two quarters of blenders pride for the night...went to Dhanraj bhatia's shop and gobbled down some food...it was abt 3:30 pm now and we planned to go back grab bikes and head to Sam for the evening...

Well after reaching hotel Blenders pride started looking tempting and we decided to open it then and there and not wait till the night and we could visit Sam to see sun rise next morning instead of sunset......

Well Patiala Peg for both of us did the trick and we crashed into the bed at abt 5:00 to wake up for dinner at 8:00 pm

Woke up at 8:00 pm it was pretty cold and went hunting in town for best dal baati in town....after a futile search for about an hour we went to desert boys(restaurant owned by our hotel itself)....we later learnt that the scruffy guy we had met earlier today was the owner of such a great restaurant....he is a wide traveler and was seen with some firangi guests and he later came to greet us....

after finishing daal baati went back to the hotel....clicked some night shots of the city....

and finished the second quarter with patiala peg for each of us on the roof top.....DJ finished it like he was drinking a bournvita while I enjoyed my drink at a more civilized pace

Great ride. Quite inspiring as well. Accidents are a part of biker's life.

You know, in childhood days when we used to do poorly in the exams, we never stopped studying, so why stop due to minor slip ups!!!

During my first hill ride, two of the four bikes met with some serious accidents (riders unhurt) and the third fell down on loose gravel and mud. The fourth was mine!!! Still I was happy to complete the ride!!! No matter what!
The best things in life are realized on two wheels!
