Good luck bro.. Check mum-khandala distance again though, it shouldn't be more then 100 kms

EDIT: you are considering considering some Khandala near Pune.. Then correct distance

Do send a friendly wave if you see a green C5 across the road

                    looks like a good trip.
                    1) Have a buffer day after every 4 days.
                    2) Having ridden for 3K kms you will need a day in Kochi for sight seeing and a day in Kanyakumari too. After all you are riding to see the beauty and not to cover kms, isn't it
                    3) Kanyakumari to Bangalore will rip your energy, so bangalore to hyd next will be very tiring. but then why are you coming to bangalore if you need to leave next day to hyd. there are much shorter routes to hyd frm kanyakumari, pick a scenic spot along them and go through it.

Assuming you are taking the NH4 toll road and the Amboli Ghat, this will take around 8-10 hours + stops, best to do it in daylight hours on a bike, if you have a break down at night you'll be screwed until morning, the highway and ghat section was good back in early July, now I assume it's not so great (ghat section in particular) leave early morning and you'll be sipping cocktails on a beach by sunset. The roads in Goa are pretty bad this year, the worst I have seen in the last few years, the NH17 is pretty ok though.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Hey bravo thanks for info. we will keep some days in buffer.
can you sugeest a shorter route between kanyakumari to Hydrabad. Bangalore is not mandatory for us.
