Kanyakumari to Rameshwaram - I took the coastal route via Thoothukudi. After Thoothukudi it is the East Coast Road. Kanyakumari - Thiruchendhur is in a little bit bad state but can ride through. You need not enter thoothukudi , you can completely by pass the city. The roads are well marked to Rameshwaram. After thoothukudi roads are good. I did not stay at Rameshwaram considering that it will a crowded place. I stayed at Ramanathapuram itself. And Doing Rameshwaram - Dhanushkodi - Rameshwaram will take you a good 3 hours ( assuming you will be riding on the beach sand at Dhanushkodi )
