Thanks guys for the response. Just got back home and successfully completed my first bike trip.

Everything went perfect from the day 1. Below are the places I had in my itinerary and managed to stick to my schedule to the dot.

Day 1 : Bangalore - Hassan. Visited Shettyhalli in the evening.
Day 2 : Hassan - Chikmagalur - Mulayangiri peak.
Day 3 : Started back to Bangalore, via Hassan.

Thanks bro for the feedback. I acually completed my trip last weekend. And everything went perfectly as planned.

I had actually done some ground work and online research before setting out and came across your post about your trip last week itself. Got to know about Yagachi water sports from your post in teh forums. Had one hell of a trip.

WoW! Amazing pics there. Its already looking so green, wonder how much more beautiful it will be in August during peak rains (hopefully).

A detailed travelogue would be of help to fellow members. Are their any tourist attractions in Hassan?

Hey Nitin,

Apologies for the really delayed response. Well, I would not have actually stayed a day at Hassan if it were not a Friday. Had to stay back so i could finish prayers. There isn't much to do or see in Hassan. Apart from the ShettyHalli Church which is a real beautiful place and really really peaceful. You will need to go through some villages and offroad though to reach it. Will write a more detailed blog and post it soon.
