    Planning a trip to kollihills from bangalore.

    Saw a travelogue in some website and was instantly hooked to 70 hairpin curves. So planning to ride to the place koliihills from bangalore this weekend. But being linguistically handicapped in tamil, planning to chart out the plan beforehand. Saturday early morning well be leaving bangalore in 4 bikes and stay the night around kollihill. Sunday morning ride up the hill section, take a bath in the waterfall and return to bangalore.
    Could you pleaze help me with food and lodging place as per your experience?
    Please merge it if it is already there in other thread. I could not find any :-(

      From the travelogues here and some blogs outside I found that everyone is pointing towards Nallathambi Resort as a better place to lodge in Kollihills.,,

        Thanks, I also looked up this place but looks like this is after the curves, I a, planning to stay somewhere before the curves so that can ride up in the early morning sun . Is there any place before the curve starts ?

          Redeemer - My sincere suggestion, try somewhere else; those 70 hair pins are not that worthy. It was quite a disappointment to my expectation on hair pins. My T'Log here - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/787645-post.html

          There's one good hotel Nallathambi Resort, food is good. Anyway, if Kolli is to your liking, go ahead & enjoy

              The 2000 or so steps to the waterfall was in fact more challenging than the hair pins for me personally..
              Live to ride.. ride to forget..
