  • Need URGENT Help regarding New Delhi-Lansdowne

    Hi bikers,

This query is not related to motorbike touring, because I am going with my parents so this is rather a long drive and I am asking for the route.

I am a Computer Science and Engineering student, these days enjoying my semester vacations with my family.
To enjoy it further more I asked my father for a family trip and I gave the option of Lansdowne which he agreed for. So this is obviously not a motorbike tour, and we will be moving in a Mahindra Xylo E6 and the plan is to leave tomorrow morning, so fast input required.

My father was worried about the road conditions and me too, but having read on the GODS trip to Lansdowne that roads are excellent, I am yet again asking you people to please frame the best route that should be taken.

Also, ideas on the hotels there would be great, as some hotels are just ignoring and saying that no room is vacant, you must visit in October that too with pre-booking before a month. Preferably we want a family suite of two rooms, any idea where instant booking has any chances or even if we book today online.

Lansdowne being a small cantonment board area, accommodation shouldn't be a problem. Try for Sate Govt's. TRH (Tourist Rerst House).

Sincere advice: Leave early (max 4:30 AM) or else you will curse the dreaded UP traffic & rowdies.
Don't forget to take the turn at Murad Nagar.

Hi, thank you for the suggestions but what happened was as my father wanted to be sure in advance about the hotel and he didn't get any vacancy in any of the good hotels there and moreover the person on the other side told not to visit Lansdowne at this time of the year and further he added be here in October with pre-bookings.
I didn't want to force him, so instead we went to Mathura, Vrindavan for a one day trip.
However on the trip to Lansdowne later this year I'll keep in mind your points. Thanks. Have a nice day.
