Tour to North Sikkim

hi, I am from kolkata. I'm planning to trip north sikkim on october. so i need help, if anyone can help me.
my question are mentioned below:

1) What are permisson required to trip north sikkim and where the permission has to be taken?
2) What are things are necessary for going to such high altitude?

1. Permits are got in Gangtok

2. Read up on preparing for Leh, high altitude, similar!

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
