    Help ! Planning to appraise 'The Ultimate Riding Wonder' from Kerala. Need advice :)

    Hi,
    We are planning to do a Munnar-Ooty-Coorg trip next week.

    Need your valuable advice for the same.

    We may start either from Chengannur or from Chalakkudy,it's not fixed as of yet. Other than that, the route consists of:

    Forward journey: Munnar - Ooty -Coorg

    Return Journey: Coorg-Virajpet-Vadakara-Quilandy-Kuttipuram-Edappal-Thrissur. (Actually I'm not familiar with the route,so don't know much details )

    We are planning a 4/5 day trip
    Please suggest the road map ,nice places to stay and safety tips.

        Some Xbhpians from Mumbai and Pune are currently riding in the same area (damn, I missed it ). You can pm them for the latest update once they are back. They started the ride on 11th Aug and will be back on 19th Aug. Professor Biker, Reverrend, Alex Joseph from Pune and Sachin Nair, Rahul Kakkar n one more guy from Mumbai.

            ThOmMy - Can you do an approximate itinerary based on the number of days & we can shape up from there?

              Yes bro,

              Day 1 : Kochi-Munnar
              Day 2 : Munnar-Ooty
              Day 3: Ooty-Coorg
              Return Trip (Day 4):
              Coorg-Muzhuppilangadu,Kannur. (Got to meet some of our friends there )
              Then finally back to Cochin.

              Brother,can you give an insight into the condition of roads Munnar-Ooty-Coorg ? (I'd been through Valparai-Munnar once but this is another route I suppose.)

              We'd also be much grateful if you could help us in choosing hotels for stay at Ooty and Coorg.

                  We do love to do sight seeing en-route bro. (This is my fourth trip to Munnar,not all were bike trips though.) So some sightseeing in Day 1 may be enough. I know Munnar is a lot more to see. But,time constraints. Have to be back home before Onam.

                  Since,you have specially mentioned that the third one has mind-blowing scenic beauty,we can't avoid it. So,we'll pursue that route itself.
