    Ladakh- The Desert In Skies!!

    Friends,

    This would be my dream ride. I am 28yrs old and would like to feel Ladakh, rigth, you read right!! I don't want to see it, but feel it!!
    It's one of the amazing place in India or in world!!

    This thread will be my start to end for Ladakh preparation and back to mumbai. I have read many threads here. Few have travelled many times, few travelled solo.Even I would be travelling Solo in April.

    It's too early to start this thread but my progress will be guided by senior xbhpians, as well as nurtured here itself!!

    I would be diving ny preparation/ trip / schedules / etc here by step by step.

    Please help guys!! i will be posting the wuestions very soon....

    I have come back from my solo ride to Leh only 2 weeks back. Keep shooting your queries so that I can keep on answering them one by one from what I have experienced.
    Advice is a form of nostalgia.
    Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      April will be too early buddy.. Try to push it at May end or early June to 'feel' good amount of snow

        Congrats in advance bro, for chosen such a wonderful place, I think a biker who never been in leh at least for once, his biking experience is in completed.

        Seeing lots of people are doing leh, now the days, So i also have decide to go there, but after some time, I have learnt lots of thing by fellow bikers in Xbhp those who have already done leh....

          Actualy i don't want to take a risk of monsoon of any bike issues, But May is excellent!!

            It was from Nasik - Ajmer - Amritsar - Srinagar - Leh - Manali - Delhi - Lucknow and further return journey by train .

            I was in Lucknow on day 12 of the ride.

              Dont worry, In early june you wont face much or no rains..!! As Ladakh comes under Rain Shadow Area. For that matter even later, hardly light drizzles in the later months..
