    The 22 day Awesome-ness (6600kms)

    Hi Guys my name is Gibran, me & my 2 friends are planning to do our big trip come November 2nd week (Ninja, P220 & R15)

    6122 kms on Google Maps (6600 kms approx reality)

    Days: 20- 22 days

    Route: (TENTATIVE)
    Day 1 Kolkata ~ Visakhapatnam
    Day 2 Stay @Vishakapatnam
    Day 3 Vishakapatnam ~ Chennai
    Day 4 Stay @Chennai & do some track racing (need info on that)
    Day 5 Chennai ~ Pondicherry
    Day 6 Stay @Pondicherry
    Day 7 Pondicherry ~ Bangalore
    Day 8 Bangalore ~ Horsley Hills ~ Bangalore
    Day 9 Bangalore ~ Nandi Hills ~ Castle Rock ~ Goa
    Day 10 Stay @Goa or Castle Rock (whichever is cheaper)
    Day 11 Stay @Goa or Castle Rock (whichever is cheaper) + Service & oil Change (need info on that)
    Day 12 Goa ~ Mahabaleswar
    Day 13 Stay @Mahabaleswar
    Day 14 Mahabaleswar ~ Lavasa ~ Pune
    Day 15 Pune ~ Lonavla ~ Amby Valley ~ Mumbai ~ Pune
    Day 16 Stay @Pune
    Day 17 Pune ~ Hyderabad
    Day 18 Stay @Hyderabad
    Day 19 Hyderabad ~ Visakhapatnam
    Day 20 Stay @Vishakapatnam
    Day 21 Vishakapatnam ~ Kolkata
    PLUS 1 DAY BUFFER

    What we would like to know is which are the must see places we should not miss while on this route. Any tips & suggestions would be very helpful.
    Would also appreciate if we could get some suggestions on some hotels cause we will be booking hotels by end of this month.

          Day 7 Pondicherry ~ Bangalore The conventional Tiruvannamalai route is gone to the dogs. Probably you can take a detour towards Pichavaram(mangrove forests) and do yercaud-Bangalore on the return leg.Just a thought
          Day 8 Bangalore ~ Horsley Hills ~ Bangalore Would not be worth going to Horsley Hills from Bangalore and coming back to Bangalore.You would be doing close to 400kms just to have 4-5kms of ghats the rest of the route is not that great either. If you are coming from chennai probably you can take a detour towards Chittoor-Madanapalle-Horsley-Bangalore. Otherwise not worth.
          Day 9 Bangalore ~ Nandi Hills ~ Castle Rock ~ Goa If you intent to do Goa then Nandi hills is a bit squeeze to do it in a single day.
          Day 10 Stay @Goa or Castle Rock (whichever is cheaper)
          Day 11 Stay @Goa or Castle Rock (whichever is cheaper) + Service & oil Change (need info on that)
          Day 12 Goa ~ Mahabaleswar
          Day 13 Stay @Mahabaleswar
          Day 14 Mahabaleswar ~ Lavasa ~ Pune
          Day 15 Pune ~ Lonavla ~ Amby Valley ~ Mumbai ~ Pune Unless you have something important to do in Mumbai, do this otherwise you can relieve yourself the pain of entering and exiting Mumbai. But even then Mahabs-Pune-mumbai-Pune seems to be a bit confusing(for me atleast).
          Day 16 Stay @Pune
          Day 17 Pune ~ Hyderabad
          Day 18 Stay @Hyderabad
          Day 19 Hyderabad ~ Visakhapatnam
          Day 20 Stay @Vishakapatnam
          Day 21 Vishakapatnam ~ Kolkata

            @phanikar Tiruvannamalai route is gone to the dogs " i dint get you here" ? if horsley hills is not worth it then will skip that part.

            @All i desperately need info on Hotels in Chennai, Pondicherry, Bangalore & Mahabaleswar & Bajaj Authorized Service station in Goa (Ninja & 220)

              Ahhh! so finally the plan is made.

              The road from Pondichery to Bangalore via Tiruvannamalai is in pathetic condition. A friend of mine who went by that route 2 weeks back said it took him almost 4 hours for a 120km stretch. Thats what Pahnikar meant, I supose.
              Don't worry about the stay in Bangalore. I will help you in that.
