@Omkar, Many people have done IBA SS1000 from Mumbai and Pune. Most of them take the route you have mentioned. Its good enough for IBA SS1000. But since you will be on an R1, you might want to look closely at where you will get fuel in the dead of the night considering the comparatively lower tank range of an R1 ( lower than, say, made in India bikes that most people from Mumbai/Pune have used)

For BB2500K, you could try to do Kolhapur - Panvel - Kolhapur - Bangalore - Chennai - Bangalore - Kolhapur.

I assume you already know about the rules and regulations which are clearly mentioned on the IBA official website.

PM him for doubts in regards to your bike. Yes, it is very much possible but in the end it all depends on the Rider as the machine does not have muscles which can pain neither eyes that can go drowsy after spending 24 hrs on a saddle neither requires flexing of butt after sitting in one position.
