Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

      5 days itinerary...
      D1 - Mumbai - Manor - Valsad - Ankaleshwar - Surat - Katra - Vadodara - Halol - Godhra - Modasa - Shamlaji - Rishabdev - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bhilwara - Ajmer (~1100 Km)

      D3 - Mohania - Dhanbad - Asansol - Asansol - Durgapur Express way - Kolkatta - Kharagpur interchange - Jaleswar - Balasore - Bhadrak - Cuttack - Bhubaneshwar - Berahmpur - Rambha - Ichchapuram - Srikakulam - Vishakapatnam (~1500 Km)
      D4 - Vishakapatnam - Yelamanchili - Rajamundry - Eluru - Vijayawada - Guntur bypass - Ongole - Kavali - Nellore - Gudur - Nayudupetta - Sulurpetta - Tada - Redhills - Chennai bypass - Maduravoyal - Thirumazhisai - Sriperumbudur - Kanchipuram - Vellore (~1000 Km)

      6 days itinerary
      D1 - Mumbai - Manor - Valsad - Ankaleshwar - Surat - Katra - Vadodara - Halol - Godhra - Modasa - Shamlaji - Rishabdev - Udaipur (~850 Km)
      D2 - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bhilwara - Ajmer - Kishengarh - Jaipur - Behror - Manesar - Delhi - Gurgaon Express way - Faridabad - Hodal (~750 Km)
      D3 - Hodal - Mathura - Agra - Kanpur Bypass - Auratya - Allahabad Bypass - Varanasi - Sasram - Aurangabad - Mohania - Dhanbad - Asansol (~1200 Km)
      D4 - Asansol - Durgapur Express way - Kolkatta - Kharagpur interchange - Jaleswar - Balasore - Bhadrak - Cuttack - Bhubaneshwar - Berahmpur - Rambha - Ichchapuram - Srikakulam - Vishakapatnam (~1100 Km)
      D5 - Vishakapatnam - Yelamanchili - Rajamundry - Eluru - Vijayawada - Guntur bypass - Ongole - Kavali - Nellore - Gudur - Nayudupetta - Sulurpetta - Tada - Redhills - Chennai bypass - Maduravoyal - Thirumazhisai - Sriperumbudur - Kanchipuram - Vellore (~1000 Km)
      D6 - Vellore - Vaniyambadi - Ambur - Krishnagiri - Shoolagiri - Hosur - NICE - Nelamangala - Tumkur - Hiriyur - Chitradurga - Davangere - Haveri - Hubli - Dharwad - Belgaum - Nipani - Kholapur - Karad - Satara - Pune - Lonavala - Khopoli - Mumbai (~1200 Km)

Roads are excellent all through the way barring the stretch "Kharagpur interchange - Jaleswar - Balasore - Bhadrak - Cuttack" because the connection between the road & bridge are not fine finished (lack smooth climb & get down, bike only does a dull thud)

You cannot take Vadodara - Ahmedabad express highway for which the best alternate has been suggested above or choose to ride in the slowest sector
Pune - Mumbai express highway...needless to say
Cross the Mohania - Dhanbad - Asansol during broad day light
Refuel either at Kanpur or ride economically between Kanpur Bypass - Auratya - Allahabad Bypass as there're no fuel station in between the bypass

Need anything more? Feel free to ask

Wow... That's exhaustive! But 6k kms in 6 days? Err, I'm not sure now. How many of us can do that?
I agree that the TS has posted a vague question, but still!

I in particular would (with current endurance levels) ride to a max of 3k kms in 6 days. Because I'd not be able to enjoy the ride and the places in between otherwise as I'll be in a hurry always and not to forget that the bum would start burning 2nd day onward.

That I don't know; based on my experience & his requirement of 5/6 days, this is what I could come up. I'm aware the 5 day schedule I posted above is way too crazy but possible. It's something between attempting for a record ride versus riding for the sake of it

Well said. Anyday for me, the distance or destination is not important, the maximum time I take, the maximum I enjoy with my ride.

Thanks aargee for the route! this will just be the endurance ride. Plausible but well, how far feasible is yet to conform.

Will map the route, thanks again!!!

Sambit on his CBR 250R is already into LBR with a record of 100 hours; word goes around that, there's an attempt to complete the GQ in about 80 hours

AND...if you want to make a record for LBR, then, you've to take NH8 from Vadodara - Ahmedabad - Himmat Nagar - Udaipur stretch & not the Vadodara - Hodal - Godhra - Modasa stretch & that makes around 6100 Km. Needless to say it takes 3-3.5 hours from Vadodara to Ahmedabad via NH8 & not through express highway where motorcycles aren't allowed.

I've no more say on this thread. Good Bye!!!

PS - If you want to test your feasibility, pls do Mumbai - Lonavala - Pune - Satara - Kholapur - Belgaum - Dharwad - Belgaum - Kholapur - Satara - Pune - Mumbai in about 14:30 hours, PARKING TO PARKING & measure your time ACCURATELY.

                    Yup,
Khadagpur to Balasore(More than 200 kms), roads are just OK type. you cant ride at 100 kms/hr for long stretches(as Argee said. Actually roads are fine, but Surprise packages are there at many places due to lack of maintenance). Balasore to Cuttack(170 km), roads are good now. Cuttack to bhubaneshwar(around 30 kms), Expressway is under construction. Hence obstructions at many places. Post Bhubaneshwar, roads are again back to being damn good till Visakhapatnam.

noted sambit, if these packages are intravenous, imminent then 5/6 days target appear to be a moot!

I've done Vythiri -Bangalore -Kolhapur in 12 hrs. was a little fatigued ride on Duke but sure could have covered till Pune if continued riding post 6pm. But next morning knew was a good decision since all the surprise packages never stops between Kolhapur to Pune.

Same thing, or rather even worst is case on Pune -Sholapur -Hyderabad highway. Will try to map good routes and see on whats done.
