Dear Sir


As you are aware most people who come to see the rann of kutch come for either the handicraft and culture or the white rann.


THe white rann is best to view from dec to mar, the rann is open to visit at the time of the year but as during monsoon the white rann parts have water accummulated one cannot visit it always. The area can be visited however in monsoon people avoid it.


If you are visiting Kutch to see culture and palaces you can visit, however if you are coming for the white rann then would suggest to plan it between dec to mar.

Official sanctuary is closed from 15th june to 15th october,,,,,
and Littlerann sanctuary is under water ,,,,,,,,
We are open our camp site is 15th october ,,,,,,,but if you are
interested visit in the Rann So ,,,,,,,,
What is special interest,,,,,,
only possible to see wildasses and Nilgai Grups in Fringe of the desert
not possible to go by jeep in the desert,,,,,
my be if the possible visit up to fishing point,,,,,,
Local people is go and settal the Huts on hite in the fring ,,,,,
and go by boot for fishing in the desert,,,,,

so it seems, the Rann is underwater , and one cannot get on to it , wildlife is restricted to what can be spotted from the roads.........................may be October then.............sigh !

Rann will be open and we can excess till the dry part,You can see Wild Ass and few birds, For fishing you need to bring your Fishing rods You can catch Cat Fish , Carp, and Raho.
