Concerns: B'lore to M'lore solo ride

Ok guys, I am to go to Surathkal(M'lore) tomorrow. I am planning to take my 200NS for the trip.

But I will be going solo. Any advices? Is it safe? What route is ok? How is the B'lore-M'lore trip? Please reply quickly as I need to plan according to your replies.
