    Bangalore - Ooty round trip route enquiry

    Hi Xbhpians,

    We are riding to Ooty tomorrow in 5 bikes. We will start by early 6 AM. Could you please suggest best route for the trip?? I am trying to avoid mysore road, as it it full of speed breakers. How about kanakpura- Malavalli route ??

    Also suggest some decent stay in Coonor if possible...

      The Quoted route via Kanakapura is good throughout. Only thing is you need to be doubly careful about Cattle and people walking as per their wish. Also, since its a two lane road, you would have to be more attentive.

      P.S: Hope you are talking the Sathyamangalam-Ooty road.
