I'd however advice you come to BLR by public means of transport, look for jobs, find a home first. Once you'd have found a place to crash in, you would have moved in most of your belongings already. That would enable you to carry less luggage when you actually ride down later. Just my thoughts!

BTW, you have 2 safe road options. (as per my experience- 3 days of relaxed riding)

Kolkata - Cuttack - Bhubaneshwar - Ichchapuram - Vizag - Rajahmundry - Vijaywada - Nellore - Tirupati - Chitoor - Kolar - BLR
OR
Kolkata - Cuttack - Bhubaneshwar - Ichchapuram - Vizag - Rajahmundry - Vijaywada - Nellore - Chennai - Krishnagiri - BLR

You can try the Hyderabad route too, but I haven't ridden on it yet.

I also stand by [MENTION=41586]Divya Sharan[/MENTION].. It won't be a good idea to carry everything on bike. Get a place to stay first, get your stuff right and then bring the bike.

The route is very long itself. So, you need to carry good amount of essential touring/riding gears and things(monsoon is almost here). So, make arrangements to send your packing by other means. Ride safe.
