  • Need advice on Bike trip

    Hi Bikers,
Myself and my friend planning to take one day bike trip of 500+kms in the hills of Valparai and Kerala in New Thunderbird 350 and Pulsar 150 on 14th Sep. We need a general tips and advice for this trip regarding the tools, other utility things, maintenance and repair to do by ourselves to make our trip more safer. Thanks!!

    Query Approved.

For her: I'd suggest first, if you've been delaying your oil service or periodic service, now is the right time to do. Also make sure all your cables are free from unwanted friction or tightness, if you observe any unforseen tightness or too loose play, get the cables adjusted and or replaced. Also do have a look at the chain slack, tighten then and lube if it's way out of slack, replace both the chain and sprocket.

For you: Helmet, Glove and jacket are prime, make sure you use the tinted visor as less as you can if you happen to ride dusk. Clear visor is you best bet for morning, and apart from proper breaks splitting your ride, you're all set.

    Ride safe!

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END
