  • October Trip to Vizag

    Hi All,

Me and two of my colleagues are planning a trip to Vizag from Kolkata this coming october.
Trip dates decided as of now is from 1st Oct night - Leave Kolkata to 5th Oct night - Return back to Kolkata

Since we will be travelling across Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, we are a little concerned about additional documentation or route permits that might be required.
From what I have gathered so far, since we will be doing a short tour, within a month, no additional permits are required.
However, is there anything we can do to avoid possible harrasment while on the tour by traffic cops and cops in general?

Three of us will be riding on individual bikes.
    1. CBR 250R - all documents
    2. CBZ extreme - all documents
    3. Pulsar 180 - now this is a new bike. He will probably be getting the number this week. But getting the HSRP will not be possible in this short time. Will this be a problem? Also the smart card has not been received as well. The bike is just about 2 weeks old and we are planning to get the first servicing done before we leave for the ride.

Also let us know in case of any other suggestions that might help us, considering this is the first real long distance trip for all three of us.

Chill you don't need to worry about things that much. Guys 1. and 2. don't need anything other than to remember to ride safe. One can never be certain about cops, but in general they don't bother harassing anybody.

No worries about the HSRP, just get a regular number plate printed and fix it on the bike.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city
