    Hyderabad to Goa, route suggesstions required

    hey guys,

    Please help me with your suggestions. Currently i live in Chennai. i will be traveling (in train along with my bike) to Hyderabad next month for a client visit. Will stay in Hyderabad for the next 2-3 months. I am new to Hyderabad. Between my friends back in Chennai planned for a Goa trip (in train) from chennai on 19-Nov-2014.

    Since i am not sure whether i will be in Chennai or Hyderabad on 19-Nov-2014, i planned to ride to Goa, either from Chennai to Goa (or) from Hyderabad to Goa. I am very clear on Chennai to Goa route plan etc (since i already done a trip in my R15 from Chennai to Goa).

    But i need your suggestions to plan (especially route & road conditions) a solo ride from Hyderabad to Goa. i have done a mini research in Google, but i need live information from fellow bikers in Hyderabad on road conditions, route etc. Please help me out n let me know if u need any information my end.

      Hello Ram,

      I dont know if this reply is going to help you. But here is the ride I did to Goa in June 2014. I did this by car, however this route is perfect for 2 wheelers. I did a lot of reserach before the trip because I wanted to avoid Maharashtra at all cost. The roads via Maharashtra are in bad condition.

      Please click on the link below and hope you can view the map. The route I took had excellent road conditions with a few patches in Telengana region where they are building a bridge. Goa and Karnataka have top class roads on this route.
