Need suggestions - Auli in December'14
Hello fellow riders,
It's been years that I have been an avid reader on this forum. I've shared a couple of my travelogues here & have benefited hugely from the information provided by other members. I'm planning a ride to Auli, Uttarakhand from Delhi in December this year and would appreciate if you guys could suggest an itinerary or review the following itinerary that I've planned:
25th Dec - Delhi to Rudraprayag
26th Dec - Rudraprayag to Joshimath/Auli (depends on the accommodation option finalized)
27th Dec - Auli (in-&-around)
28th Dec - Auli to Nainital via Rankhet
29th Dec - Nainital to Delhi via Moradabad
I'm looking for suggestions regarding adventure activities in Auli, accommodation options in Auli (Is it better to stay in Auli or Joshimath??) & any suggestions/updates on road conditions would be highly appreciated. I'll be riding on my humble 150cc Hunk along with a friend of mine on his RE Bullet 350.
