Hello folks!


So we college friends had decided about a year before about a Nasik - Goa ride and here after some months of preparing our riding gear we are most possibly about to do it in the next week, ie from 29th December. I just rejoined xBHP and this seems like a perfect time to meet up with you guys!


We stay in Nasik so Goa is about 700 odd kms via the Pune route. For the first day we are aiming at Kolhapur as the night halt. This is our first real long ride. Our maximum was an 800 km some years back.




Our trip itinerary is as follows:


29th Nov - Nasik to Kolhapur (if possible, else halt at Satara)
30th Nov - Kolhapur to Goa


3 - 4 days halt in Goa


Ride back home.


Pretty simple actually. I am looking for suggestions and contacts for cheap lodging in and around Goa and also places to visit. Vagator is first halt in Goa I was suggesting to my friends as I really want to check out the Dil Chahta Hai fort, as coincidentally we are also 3 friends. So a photo of that style would be a cool memory to have!

Please suggest places to visit that would be easy on the pocket.


It would be awesome to meet up with you guys during the trip. Anyone going on that route in around that date?
