    Road Trip Route Suggestion & Advice regarding bike

    Hi everyone,


    I am planning a road trip this January. My initial plan is to start from my hometown ie Kollam (Kerala) till Agra & send back my bike through railway parcel service. Can anyone suggest a route plan with major attraction i should see, as i am planning to spend a maximum 13 days duration for my trip. I have an 2010 model Pulsar 180 with ODDO 45000kms, is it OK to take this old bike for this long trip? or do i need a new one for this trip

    If your bike is in a good enough condition, then its mileage and age shouldn't matter. Also, January in the north means mind numbing cold added to that is heavy fog which reduces riding hours in the day and increases risk due to poor visibility.

    There are many routes to come up from Kerela to Agra. Going through the west coast, east coast or right down the centre. Do some homework find out what and where you want to go and do and then ask for help to fine tune your plans. Currently your query is vague!

      Thanks for your valuable reply. I will finalize the route plan ( considering the cold weather conditions) & places i wish to go.

      May be with more detailed route plan, other xbhpians can input valuable informations.

        Hai, succesfully completed the trip y\'day. I took Kerala-wayanad-coorg-agumbe-jogfalls-goa-bengaluru route. A total of of 3200kms covered in 8 days, planning to write a travalouge soon. Thanks for you valuable advice
