    Bangalore - Chikkamagalur

    Hi Brothers,

    I'm planning a trip to Chikkamagalur with 4 of my childhood friends. Wanted to know the condition of the road and best scenic route to chikkamagalur.
    I would be so thankful if someone could help with the following.

    1. The route to be taken from Bangalore to Chikkamaglur (would be travelling on a sedan or a hatch)

    2. Good accommodation (homestays) with tariff and contact.

    3. Places to visit in 2 days(2nd and 3rd

      Route: Bangalore - Neelmangala - Hassan - Belur Cross - Chikkamaglur

      Road till Hassan is divided toll road, so very good condition except small stretches where construction is going on.
      Post Hassan the road is undivided but in decent condition.
      Based on where you live in Bangalore, your biggest challenge will be escaping Bangalore traffic

        Thank you for your reply. We planned to stay in koramangala. I'm from chennai and will be celebrating New Year in Bangalore.
