Hi all,
This is my first post on Xbhp. I\'ve posted the question on some other travelling forum but it\'s not answered. Since this is a bike trip so I guess better on xbhp.
I\'ve 8-9 days vacation at the End of Feb (probabily 20Feb - 5 MAr). Ive planned a Motorcycle trip to Lake of No Return and then to Various
areas of North Eastern states. I\'ll be transporting my bike to Dibrugarh
on Train. Please Advice if the Itinerary is Okay considering the Road conditions and if Inner Line Permit can be taken from Delhi for all the visitng states ?
1. Friday - Departure from Delhi at around 13:00 Dibrugarh Rajdhani
2. Sunday- 3.30 Arrival at Tinsukia
Worst case Arrival due to Train delay 9.00 AM
3. Sunday: To Lake of No return, Stay wherever we find on the way to Jorhat before Night.
Staying place help needed here. Which city/town we can make it after Lake of return.
4. Monday: Continuous Riding Till Kohima Via Dimapur and Jorhat.
Is there better scenic route to Kohima? Wanted to go via Tuensang town
But I think that would take two extra days to reach Kohima.
5. Tuesday,Wed: Kohima and Dzuko Valleyand then to Imphal
6. Thusday: Buffer day
7. Friday,Sat: Towards Shillong via Silchar. Visit some Caves on this way. Sat night halt at Shillong
8. Sunday: Cherrapunji/mawsynram after that towards Guwahati.
9. Monday: Guwahati to Delhi
10. Tuesday: Delhi
