    Pune to bhopal...touring

    Hey guys,

    i have just bought my cbr 150r. I m just waiting for its first servicing, so that i can go for tour. I have some questions.
    1. My friends opposing me for pune to bhopal tour( 800km). I dont know why? They say go by train but dont go by bike...its too much distance.
    2. I know you may say that 250 is good for tour but i prefer going on my new cbr 150.
    3. I m sole rider on my bike. So what are the difficulties will i face during ride?
    4. I m confident that i can reach by bike and i can drive it but is only confident i need or some thing else.

    See brother, it is a personal take. 800 kms are doable. Bike is never the deciding/limiting factor. You are!

    However, you said you've just got the bike and waiting for first service. I'll say, wait till 2nd service.
    Reasons?

    1. You get to know your bike.
    2. You build some endurance.
    3. You get more control over the bike.
    4. The bike gets a proper run in.

    Do smaller trips (100-200 kms) in the meanwhile. Build trust within friends/family and then you can go to the moon!

      I agree to above but long solo rides are fun...I just say avoid roads in the night if not sure on tech support for your bike.

          i have full confidence that cbr 150r can make it. But do you think cooling will be a problem. As i drive in pune city traffic, liquid cooling pump starts growling like a and tank becomes hot in traffic. Although my bikes first servicing is still in wait. I have already bought saddle bag(cramster). Should i go for jackets or kit of armour,with leg guard and knee guard.

            Hi Kundan, Go for a riding jacket. Its would last longer. and do a better job preventing the wind from hitting your body which causes fatigue.

            For leg protection knee guards and ankle lenght boots would be good. Don't forget sunglasses if incase you have a clear visor.

                Now first servicing done. Awesome feeling. Now i just want to be ready for bhopal trip. Already bought saddle bag but confused about jacket and protective gears....
                i m very proud that i m much more safety lover in case of bike. I mean i always apply break before every other person.
