Avoid riding in the dark. Not sure about roads in MH and MP, but JH roads are ok at best. Dhanbad is dug up and Sindri route has it's share of huge potholes.

Absolutely safe. Recently, I drove through Jharkhand throughout the night on my way to Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh and returned via Jharkhand again in the night without any issue.

The four-laned NH 2 was very good. I drove from Dobhi, Bihar to Raniganj, West Bengal on NH 2 and turned towards Kharagpur for my return journey towards Bhubaneswar>Chennai. If you are entering West Bengal, expect a lot of traffic jam in the night at JH-WB border.

if u r going to Dhanbad via nagpure jabalpure,, then i might help,,,,,

ok, here it Goes u take NH7 from nagpure it has double lane smooth road till u reach pench tiger reserve from there Ghat section starts so single lane but smooth road till u reach town of seoni in MP ,,, nagpure to seoni 129kms,,, (route NH7)

now again from seoni to lukhnadon ,,double lane distance 61 km (route NH7),,,,
lukhnadon ot jabalpur 85 km,, single lane but very smooth road ( route NH7),,,
jabalpur to katni 92 km,,, single lane smooth road,,, ( route NH7),,,
katni to rewa 108 km,, single lane smooth roads,( route NH7),,

Rewa to hanumana 80 km double lane (NH7)

bad road starts from hanumana till u reach orai 102 kms approx single lane road (route NH7),,,,,,

once u reached orai NH2 grand trunk delhi kolkata highway will take u from there to all the way to Dhanbad on a fantastic double lane road distance 810-820kms approx ,,,,,

now regarding naxalite problems in jharkhand,,,, well just 15 days ago i gone to kolkata from varanasi via same NH2 ,,, started 10 in night and reached kolkata in around 6 in the morning,,, crossed all the jarkhand to all its breadth in the night and that is alone ,,,, ,,,,,rest u should gather more information ,,,,all the best,,, and yeah all the routes mentioned is being ridden and experienced by me ,,,,,,,,so surely going to enjoy ur ride,,,,

This will be my first ride above 1000 km....so is there is any difference between normal ride and above 1000 kms ride...i m going to cover this 1835 kms journey in 2.5 days.
what are the things which i have to take during this ride?

Just did delhi dhanbad. No problem at all. Amazing roads. Only problem ull face is some villagers riding wrong side of d road. Dats it.
