    Bike Trip to Nepal-Sikkim-West Bengal-Uttarakhand-Delhi from 10th Oct to 1 Nov

    Let me introduce myself I am Santosh Thapa From Pune just love riding my R15 v2 and exploring whenever I get chance to do so.
    This is finally happening!! Trip to Nepal and Sikkim after all struggles and disappointments. This is not the first time I am going on a long trip, this was 3 years back when I got my R15 and after that love for riding just begun. After few months I had gone Solo to Leh starting from Jammu to Delhi, and with friends I have gone to Pune-Gujrat-Rajasthan-Delhi,Pune- Goa, Kokan, Pune-Kerala-Kanyakumari-Pune. I am familiar with Nepali Language and also I have gone several times and visited only few places, this time I gonna start from Siliguri and try to cover almost all parts of the Sikkim state and then enter into Nepal from north (border near Darjeeling) and all way to west side of Nepal to enter into Uttarakhand state.

    Please go through my Itinerary and queries and let me know if any changes to make, please feel free to give your valuable advise.

    Apologies for poor English.

    1. Any contacts to get all permits to travel around Sikkim.
    2. from Pashup    ati nagar (Nepal border close to Darjeeling) bike entry is allowed are not?
    3. from Jhulaghat (India border -Uttarakhand state) exit on bike is allowed or not?
    4. To take part in True Wanderers 5- question is Do I have to go on solo trip to be eligible or does not matter ?.

    For starters, please don't apologise about your language skills. You have a better command over the language than most here.

    One query i have for you. How do you plan to transport your bike from Pune to Siliguri? Does any train stop there or are you planning to use a service like Gati?

    Another thing, won't you get snowfall at that time of the year in Sikkim. Especially the norther region. Please confirm this, avoid riding solo if that is the case.
    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      There are no trains from Pune to Siliguri. The best option is to transport my bike from Mumbai via Train 3 days before I leave to Siliguri via Plane. I have already done all bookings. thank for your concern.

      Point to be taken, I am expecting light snowfall in northern region but not heavy, and that's the part of the plan.

      Most likely one my friend will be traveling with me.

          Best of luck for your ride. I hope all good luck is with you and in favour of your trip. Do mention how much luggage and spares you are taking and what will be your gears regarding the season and mods to bike.
          Its not the Bike that makes a Biker perfect, its a Biker who makes his Bike perfect :)
