Hello guys. Well this is my first post in xbhp and it feels really good to finally get connected to you avid bikers out there. My friends and I are planning a TRIP TO BHUTAN this October. We are from North Bengal and three of us are going to take the trip. Our trip starts on 19th of October from a small town called Phuentsholing near Indo - Bhutan border. The itinerary stands like this as of now -

Day 1 Phuentsholing to Paro
Day 2 Tigers Monastery
Day 3 Paro - Thimphu
Day 4 Thimphu - Punakha (Provided we get the permits
Day 5 Punakha - Bumthang
Day 6 Bumthang to Phuentsholing

Any suggestions will be most welcome.
Some questions regarding the trip.

1. How will be the weather during the time? Will it be very cold?
2. We don't have riding jackets? Are they really necessary? Will normal winter jackets suffice?
3. We have just the bare essentials like a helmet, pair of gloves and a balaclava. Are these enough for the tour?
4. How are the road conditions at present?
5. Recommendations on hotels and places to put up during trip please.

And any other suggestions including the above. Looking forward to your replies guys.
