Am planning to ride from Bangalore to Karwar around Christmas time. Was planning to take the NH 4 all the way to Haveri. From Haveri, I understand there is a better road via Sirsi and north towards Yellapur. Is this a better route or is the Google maps route via Bankapur better?
Really looking for good quality roads and scenery.
Also, what do you think is the most likely time required with breaks for this ride? I've done a few 200-300 kms ride (one way) if that helps.
