    Gurgaon to kota

    Hi everyone

    I am planning a road trip to Kota, Rajasthan from Gurgaon on 23rd Nov till 25th Nov.

    Would you please help me chalk out a proper route plan. Preferably on the road that has no/less potholes.

    Mods: I am not able to create a topic in the route planning section, hence I am creating it here. Pls move it to the right place.

      Hi Zeeshan,
      I have recently been to Jaipur from Gurgaon. I stayed on NH8 all the way from Gurgaon till Jaipur bypass. The road is in awesome condition; I was able to maintain speeds around 90 - 120 for almost 90% of my journey.
      I suggest that you continue past Jaipur on NH8 and take a left turn (leaving NH8) before Mahapura towards 'Diggi - Malpura' road. Then continue till Kota bypassing Phagi, Kekri and Bundi - avoid entering inside any city and take bypass road.
      I am not very sure about the road conditions for route after leaving NH8.

        Thank Rohit ... i have been on NH8 to Jaipur umpteen of times ... u r right the road pretty nice ... once i went from jaipur to tonk couple of wks back & the road was in superb condition ... fantastic tarmac ... easily clocked 130 + Kmph ... but beyond that I have no idea... what do u suggest ??? Should I go via Tonk or take ur suggestion.
