  • Delhi To Kochi on RE Thunderbird

    Hi fellow Xbhp'ians

    Greetings from the capital.

I have planned to travel to Kochi from Delhi this April on My "Maahi" Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350, I probably will be travelling solo.

Shall be starting from Del on 23. Need some insights and suggestions on route. Followings is what i have decided:

Del - Udaipur - Mumbai - Goa - Mysore via Bandipur National park to Kochi.

Day 1. Leave from Delhi at 400 HRS on NH48 crossing jaipur and Ajmer towards Udaipur. I plan to stay in udaipur or mat be considering the temperature and riding conditions might stretch to Vadodara.

Day 2 Udaipur/ Vadodara to Mumbai via halol. Will stay on outskirts somewhere close to Thane.

Day 3 Next morning a visit to Gateway of India click a picture and move towards a RE service station for servicing post that leave to Goa. Arrive late in Goa and stay at Calangute

Day 4 click some pictures at the beach and move towards Mysore via Hubbali. Hiriyur.

Day 5 move towards kochi from Mysore via Bandipur national park - Thrissur to kochi.

    Looking for suggestions.

    Thanks

    Thread Approved

You are going to be exhausted!

Day 3. Servicing the bike and then going to Goa. Why? Just service the bike in Delhi before leaving! And entering and exiting Bombay itself takes a month of sundays!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Before you start your mission, make sure your bike is fit for road. Being summer (already mercury soaring high) don't push yourself for a day, plan accordingly

Buddy beat the heat by drinking plenty of water. Also rest maahi on regular intervals. If i would have been on your place, i would have preferred night riding.
