  • Road trip to dubai.

Hey fellow riders, for the past 3-4 months I've been thinking about a trip to dubai from Kerala. The reason why I'm planning this is because I have to go to dubai related to my job. And so he all. I don't wanna miss my motorcycle and make him wait for me for 1 or two years. Its so painful. I heard that there are some serious issues when crossing the wagah border or literally it is not possible to ride a India registered civilian motorcycle through Pakistan. Any experiences or suggestion regarding this and guys I am trying to ride solo nd in seriously into it. Thanks in advance. [emoji4] [emoji4]

Well I'd not like to break your enthusiasm, but honestly the current geo-political scenarios around both (India & Dubai) actually just knocks out your hopes to ride to Dubai. You have to pass thru some pretty rough countries Iraq(for a little bit), Saudi Arabai (Still kind of OK), Iran(has a bad rep, but you also hear of good stories from tourists).

Then comes some pretty dangerous countries Like Afghanistan (its uncertain there), Pakistan(the most dangerous for Indians considering current situation).

You can argue that you could skip Pakistan & go round it & enter Iran from Turkmenistan; For which the only way possible is Entering thru China, as there's no way you can ride thru POK to enter Tajikistan.

But the point is You will still have to ride thru Iran & cross over some of Iraq into Kuwait, probably the safest of all into the Middle East.
So Basically there's trouble & tough task to not only Exiting India will equally tough ask equally Entering Dubai.

All in all its one very difficult trip to even leave India by road towards your destination. While I understand the thrill of it & the excitement a Road trip brings, it's rather better if you do a road trip from Dubai-Oman-Dubai to satisfy your itch than to take such a huge uncertain trip thru quite unstable countries.

Thanks a lot Kaushik, that was one helpful suggestion (just like I needed) appreciate your effort. As you said I was a bit uncertain about Pakistan (to be honest wasn't much aware) Anyway I have to consider this trip maybe some other time (only because I am an Indian) The Dubai- Oman is in the first priority for sure. Thanks is brotha..
