    Best Route: Mumbai to Tadoba

    We have booked our trip to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve this coming Diwali. Need your suggestions for the best route to reach Kolara Gate from Mumbai. We plan to take Suv's and 2 Bikes for the trip, hence request you to suggest the route and halts/stays accordingly.

      Mumbai - Igatpuri - Shirdi - Aurangabad - Jalna - Mehkar - Karanja - Wardha - Chimur - Kolara

      Till Jalna it is 6 and 4 lane. Might me little bumpy here and there post Igatpuri

      Post Jalna it is 2 lane. Jalna - Mehkar - Karanja has certain sections which is generally bad all year round. Rest should be good

      Jalna is a good place to stop for the night

        Go from pune - ahmednagar - aurangabad - jalna - sindkhedraja -mehkar - karanja lad - wardha - Jamb - Chimur - Tadoba..

        Chimur se dekho which gate you want to go..

            How about route via lonar, planning a days half at lonar either while going or coming back.
