    Updates on Road Conditions : Uttarakhand

    Travelling in Uttarakhand and it's all heavy rains, roads in kumaun (Bageshwar onwards) and in Garhwal (Satpuli region mostly) will be blocked for a few hours or days depending on the weather.
    Mods please if you could make this thread sticky as there are many of our forum members travelling to Uttarakhand.

    The Road Conditions update thread should mention the condition of the road. For example how good or bad the road is from Haridwar to Uttarkashi or Almora to Munsiyari etc. So that people can refer to the latest road conditions to help plan out their route.

        Badrinath, Kedarnath and Yamunotri highway closed. Kahirna Kwarab highway closed on DM's order.

          Route from Haldwani to Nainital is clear, Haldwani Bhimtal route also clear upto Mukteshwar. Further rains may close down the routes though. Be aware, can contact me in PM if you are on a ride. Rishikesh highway open, some rocks falling near vyasi though but not a very major concern. Haridwar Dehradun route is open.

            Nainital Almora highway closed down due to fire in a truck carrying LPG cylinders and subsequent blasts.
