    Suggestion required - 6 days Trip - TN & Kerals

    Hello,

    I'm planning for 6 days trip with my friend in Gixxer 155 starting from Madurai (Saturday)and end it at Rameswaram (Thursday). PS - Taking bike in train (Chennai to Madurai) and (Rameswaram to Chennai).

    Kindly suggest some interesting plans regarding route, places to visit and stay, which will be more helpful to us.

    Our rough plan as of now, Madurai -Thekkady-Kumuli-Megamalai-Munnar-Wayanad-Thenmala-Alleppey-Kanyakumari-Rameswaram.

    Your suggestions are most welcome.

      Thekkady and kumly are same .... kumly tn border and thekkady kerala border be clear with it..... instead of going to megamalai u can directly go to munnar. If u want to go megamalai make a stay over there... allepy to kanyakumari will be very long ride because its your last day travel...
      Kindly cut short your travel time for the last day and enjoy by going sightseeings....

          Start From Chennai so that you can cover almost half of Tamil Nadu on your way to Madurai.

          Munnar - Alleppey - Varkala - Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Rameswaram
          Wayanad is all the way up from Munnar, There is a lot to explore in wayanad, coorg and it itself takes one or two days, try doing that next time, For stay and places to visit Munnar and Allepey has many options.

            I agree with Isaac Praveen ,There are so many beautiful places near Munnar like Valparai etc which you can visit instead of going all the way up to Wayanad unless you are very particular about it.

                Dear brother, instead of visting all places try to concentrate on the places looking closer to each other. As am nearer to megamalai, i know about the road condition. The roads are under construction and because of the loose gravel, it is better to avoid it now. Instead of that you can visit kodaikanal. You can ponmudi instead of alleppy.
                Day 1: rameshwaram to kanyakumari
                Day 2: kanyakumari to either varkala or kovalam(if you want go to ponmudi then you have to stay at kk itself)
                Day 3: varkala, kovalam or ponmudi
                Day 4: to kumili
                Day 5 :kumili and munnar
                Day 6 :you can either visit kodaikanal or go to madurai.
                Ride hard ride safe
