Hi All,
I am planning for a Bike Trip from Mumbai to Ladakh in June 2018. Can someone help me with contacts of any Xbhp members who can help me plan this out?
Also i am looking for riders who can join me in this pursuit.

Wow!! there's a thread already on this... How safe is it to pass the highways of UP , MP and states around. I heared its cery unsafe to travel in these highways... can some one give me an insight?

Ridden through most of the states. So not really. Could be certain sections. Arterial highways are no problem at all.

What route are you looking at?

I may start from chennai and reach delhi via Hyderabad, Nagpur, chhindwara, Jhansi, Agra .

Simply avoid riding at night if you worry about anything.

Ofcourse, i will avoid night rides. But these things happen anytime of the day is what i heared. May be the guys who live there or visit frequently can help.

You are panicking unnecessarily. Hundreds of people travel on those roads everyday, many of them traveling on bike.
If you are really scared you can enter Maharashtra from Karnataka and then Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana thereby avoiding MP and UP.

If you are really scared you can enter Maharashtra from Karnataka and then Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana thereby avoiding MP and UP.

Not scared 😊, just precaution. Getting my facts right so i can plan accordingly.

Rode on nagpur & chhindwara highway, roads are awesome nothing to worry. People are good too just in ghat section, mobile network doesn’t work.

Banglore to leh..-help needed..

Hi brothers..
Me and my brother, my friend (with his gf) ll be on leh bike trip (2 bikes)in MAY month(after 1st week).

Bike's- DOMINAR and P220F

Day 1
Bangalore to pune(outskirt-chinwad)-800kms

Day 2
Pune to himmathnagar-750km

Day 3
Himmathnagar to Bikaner- 620km
(Need help to book good desert stay)

Day 4
Bikaner to attri(wagha border)- 431km


Day 5
Amritsar to Srinagar-440kms

Above mentioned places are decided as per Google maps[ 12-13hrs riding (6am to 6pm)]


Please suggest and any updates/shortcuts/alternative roads.

Mainly stays (couple friendly is our requirement) with budget price and safe parking facilities.(bikes are loaded full of luggage .
And local special eateries [emoji39]
