    Hello guys,

    I am planning a honymoon ride with my wife starting from 25th december we will be covering dalhouse -dharmashala-manali-shimla-amritsar and everything in between

    I need your help in following points to make this ride a stepping stone in our new life, than lk you all in advance

    1. We dont own a bike how to rent a bike from amritsar ? And which bike will be suited and any leads if you can provide.

    2. How should we plan for weather as its december and it will be very cold? How what things to he considrd?

    3. How to plan iternary if any of you guys have done this ride before can provide us the iternary?

    4. Any suggestions and help is wellcomed we are doing this for first time.

    Sounds like a VERY bad idea.

    You don't have a bike. You are from Bombay and not used to north Indian winter, much less winter in the mountains. You want to ride a rented bike, read Breakdowns. You are doing this for the first time Recipe for disaster!

    You don't want to piss off your wife while trying to repair a broken down rented motorcycle in the middle of nowhere in the winter in the mountains! It might not exactly be getting things off to a good start

    I would suggest go south if you want to do a motorcycle honeymoon trip.

    And if you are super keen on the Himalayas then rent a car, probably from Chandigarh or Delhi!
    Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
