Hey everyone, I am planning a bike trip with my friend to Zero Point in Sikkim, from Kolkata. Would love any tips and suggestions you guys have for this. I am quite familiar with the mountains and terrain but I have always travelled in public transportation and not so much in sikkim (I mostly toured in HP and nearing states). So would love to hear some stories, tips, suggestions or facts, or even photographs you have of this route.

Here is some preliminary plans we have done:
Bike: Ducati Supersport 939
Luggage: One 30l tank bag, one small backpack for the pillion
1st stop: Siliguri for one day (12 hours ride)
2nd Stop: Gangtok for two days (7 hours ride)
Destination: Zero Point.
