I am visiting Meghalaya in mid August and looking to rent a bike for 3 days for a day in Shillong and nearby and two days in Cherrapunji.
I enquired a couple of rental in Shillong they have RE, pulsar and scoots (Vespa and Yamaha).
Which bike should I choose (I have pillion too)?
Considering unexpected heavy showers, will getting RE, would be good choice?

What about getting scoots like Vespa?

Also, I belive most of the Meghalaya roads are good, any suggestions on some good scenic stretch of road.
