Planning a 6-8 days road trip from Bangalore to Gujarat in December. Had a couple of queries on the same. Hope you guys can help me out
Below is the route planned and the queries that I had:

Bangalore -> Pune -> Vadodara -> Rajkot (via Lothal) -> Rann of Kutch -> Ahmedabad (via Patan) -> Surat -> Bangalore

1. How are the road conditions on the above route? Point to be noted is I would be riding a Ninja 300. So would want to avoid bad roads as much as I can. Also, I might be accompanied by a pillion once I enter Gujarat.

2. Any safety concerns that I need to be aware of beforehand?

3. Are permits required to be taken prior for any places in Gujarat?

4. Any unforeseen weather changes during this time?

5. Rental Car/Bike situation in case taking my bike is not advisable

6. Safe lodging available with secure bike parking in all these places?

7. Mobile network in the above places. I've read blogs of people getting lost particularly when going to Rann.

8. Contact of yourself/ anyone close to you who is in Gujarat currently in case of emergency
