Tip for trip (Bangalore - Pondicherry - Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari)

Hi guys,

I'm planning a solo motorcycle ride from Bangalore to Pondicherry (2 nights stay) to Rameshwaram (1 night stay) to Kanyakumari to Trivandrum, in the first week of September.

Could someone please give suggestions on places to visit, hotels to stay, about road conditions etc? Any information from your experience would be really helpful.
