Today after much postponing posted my log. Out of curiosity I wanted to check how many logs were there, and there what do I see .............the first entry reads "Destination Unknown.......By: praveenkm ". All my hopes down the drain. But sincerely from the bottom of my heart wish praveen wins the contest.Not only does he deserve the GT7 but a 650r as well

but how do we prevent fraud and bogus rating, i mean one person will create 100 FB accoounts and rate his post using those FB accounts.???

we cannot stop such kind of ratings ,,
but only way to stop such ratings is by sending sms ,,
phone numbers are limited ,,
a person can only have 2 or 3 numbers at max,, its better to change the voting system to sms ,

but i am sure ,, the people who organize this will be able to ,, sniff the fakes ,,
like a fake will have ,, for example ,, all top rated votes,
genune votes will be ,, 3 star ,, 2 star ,, ,,
and the time line of votes ,,
etc etc

hope i get a chance ,, to go for this trip ,, thoug my blog is not soo great

no yaar, even if i don't create 100 fake profiles to vote from, i can still send an e-mail to all orkut, FB friends with link and detailed instructions on how to vote ............and they will vote for me without even reading my post, .............

there has to be a fool proof method....

may be....only xbhp profiles with certain minimum number of posts or threads can rate.

or simply do away with the rating...........let organizers from hyosung decide, or let our mods decide....

but my trip log is still not visible on that web page. haven't recieved any e-mail.

@princesirohi the voting is just 20% of the entire ranking process. Content, Photography, Originality, Toughness of the ride are the balance three judging criteria. So even if you dont get people to read your blog the jury will read it thoroughly and judge it on these criteria.

The email regarding your triplog and its link will be mailed to you by tomorrow as we are waiting for a critical mass to build before sending the promotional links. This is so that everyone gets equal chance at promoting their blog.

i would like to share a few pics n d experience of the ride , Bangalore - Ooty - Bangalore , .. 8hours, 614kms ,Two Yzf r15's , 2 riders and a pillion photographer with one determination to tame the twists and turns of the ghat section through bandipur and mudumalai forest..

When you chose to wander around on 2 wheels in d wild , the hunt for adventure gets a little more interesting..

we had a lot of fun, here are a few pics for you guys..
