The tread of the front tyre of my Street Twin 2017 is kind of levelled with the base of the tyre :-) I have done about 17,500 and these are Pirelli, I think. In Delhi-NCR, one dealer has the front tyre only. I am being advised to change both tyres and not one. The rear tyre seems to a fair amount of life in it - the tread is deep and the tyre does not look worn out or stressed - to my uneducated eye. Asking a tyre dealer is normally of not much use as they typically advocate a full change - that's been my experience.

I need advice on if it makes sense to change just the front tyre? One dealer in Delhi has the exact same model that I have on the motorcycle right now. I don't know how old the stock is.

Or is it better to change both tyres irrespective of the fact that the rear tyre seems to be just fine.

Any recommendations of big dealers/distributors anywhere in India who may have both tyres?

The motorcycle is from 2017 and these tyres are original - came with the bike - and have done about 17,500 kms
