  • MRF Meteor Rear 100/90-17 Tire on front wheel for Pulsar AS200

    Hello all,
I am contemplating on changing my front tire to MRF Meteor 100/90-R17. I had replaced my rear 130/80 R17 with MRF Meteor 120/80 for my ladakh trip and was quite impressed with its performance that I dont want to switch back to stock. Although, I used the same stock front tire for the trip, I have been thinking a lot on replacing the same with the similar pattern 100/90 R17 meteor which is specifically recommended as rear tire on MRF website.

So has anyone used the same tire on front wheel ? or What could be the repercussions of using rear tire on front wheel?

I am aware about the aspect ratio change which will cause odo error and some performance reduction in front brake.

Fellow bikers, need your advice and suggestions!

Wish you all safe and happy Riding in 2017.......!!!!!!!!!!

You must have changed the tyre by now, in case you haven't. I will suggest Michelin for front. I have had a great experience with the same in my Pulsar 150. I turned to Pirelli Sport demon 140/70/17 for back and Michelin Pilot Sporty 100/90/17 for front. My usage was most daily commute and weekend touring. Which included bit of off roading also. I had a great experience with the duo.
