    In terms of compound vyde better than q better than c. personally i really like the C pattern, especially on the shoulders.
    Agree to 120 section being an overkill on the RTR, that would be with case with Zapper C and/or Zapper Q but not exactly with Mrf Revz since Revz is a lot rounder on the rim once installed contact patch too is identical to stock tire and Revz weighted less than stock did therefore no loss of performance as such, and traction on wet and dry, way better than Vyde. Unfortunately Revz not available for 18 inchers.

      Yea sry I didn't mention before. Updated now. Pattern doesn't matter much for me. Performance and the grip does.

        Should I consider down sizing my rim then? Means opting for a new rim.

          Can't be sure if that would be sensible thing from cost/performance POV. I'd say go with the Vyde if available in 100 or 110 section TL else the Zapper C.

          Since I do not own an RTR myself I can't really comment on pros/cons and feasibility upon the rim downsizing thing, I helped my novice friend who owns an RTR, he was all praises for the tire combo I mentioned on my first post and I who occasionally takes his ride for a spin was able to feel the grip instantly.

                  I meant grippier pattern not fancier looking. But anyway C is not available last i checked, so your only options are the Q and vyde.

                  There is no need to change your rim. Just buy the vyde in 100/90 and enjoy!

                  One thing to note, unless your rims were already tubeless, installing a tubless tyre means fitting a special valve. The valve hole for a tubed rim is narrower than the tubeless rim valve home. Also, the valve that fits is thinner and longer than the standard tubeless valves and will fail soon. I had a leakage problem with my vyde TL and just installed a tube as a permanent solution. If you are converting a tube type rim for tubeless use, make sure you use a metal valve, not the usual rubber ones.

                    So vyde is available in 18"? If so I'll opt for it.

                      Like i said earlier, i'm using the vyde 100/90-18 TL and it's a pretty good tyre. better than the Q so far.

                        Hi ppl. Thanks for providing your valuable feedback. My rear Tyre got punctured for the 3rd time in 2 weeks and the mechanic said the tyre is weak. Went to the MRF store nearby and they had only zapper y and masseter-x in 18 inches. So had to choose between them and settled with masseter-x for the rear. 100/80 18.

                            I didn't replace front yet. The tyre itself was 2700 with the tube to tubeless metal mouth and fitting charges made it 3000. I was left with no choice so had to go for it. There was only 2 or 3 reviews on the masseter-x but everyone qouted it has enthusiast level tyres so went with it. I've rode about 50km with it so far. The grip is better than the stock TVS tyres. Will update my mileage with it after a week.
