  • Michelin vs Apollo Tyre Which one is Best

Looking for a person who have a Torch (Good Experience) with these 2 brands.

My TVS JUPITER Rear (OEM Tvs) Tyre is worn out got big cracks on the side wall of tyre as well as on surface, So I'm looking for good replacement.

I'm not interested in these brands:

    1. Mrf - known for worst grip for scooty's

    2. Ceat - worst tyres in the world because puncher repairs are not successful in ceat always leak. Good for nothing tyre replacement policy even when its in under warranty.

    3. JK - Not interested neither they have good built quality.

    4. TVS - Bad Built Quality tyre developes Huge Cracks. Old Punchers starts to leak after few months. But Grip is Awesome.

Quality Concern Michelin is Manufactured By TVS...!

Today i was looking for new tyre for my TVS JUPITER as it Cracks build-up on it's OEM tyre and to surprise i found that Michelin Two Wheeler Tyres is now Manufactured by TVS So i have a Quality Concern for Michelin as its Manufactured By TVS who's own tyre's are not up to the mark. I know that there are some Quality Standards fixed by Michelin but still if TVS is Manufacturing Michelin that means even TVS is using that same Composition of materials in their own tyre's except that grip design. As well as TVS tyre's costs less than Michelin tyre's.
Is it WORTH...? to buy Michelin by paying extra amount ??? or TVS Cann't use that same composition or materials used in Michelin tyre's ?

PS: Note to the Moderator : why don't you set Auto New Thread Post Aproval ? instead of Manual, As you take Ages to approve a New Thread.

Because NOT every post is worthy enough of its own thread!
Sometimes the questions asked have been answered already, it's possible for a person to not have read all the threads present here!

I personally think manual takes time and is probably tiresome for moderators but it's the only way to go.

I have used both these brand of tires extensively on my Dio (over 10yrs/70k km). Mrf zappers provide excellent grip, but wear out faster (approx 14k km)
The Ceat's provide good grip , cost a little less and last longer.. sufficient for most users.
To get the best grip/performance from the tires, ensure you maintain recommended tire pressure (maybe max +2psi). Most folks just go by what the puncture guy or petrol pump guys fill in and its almost always way over the recommended tire pressure (Especially with local puncture wala's). This causes poor handling, bad wet grip, cracks, hard ride etc..
