  • Tyre options for Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 (Rear + Front ), ditching the Stocks!

Please suggest good tyres for my FZ FI

i am thinking of this combination.

    Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO II 140/70R17M/CTL 66H DRII-REAR

Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 110/70 R17 M/CTL 54H Tubeless Bike Tyre, Front

can someone please suggest if this is a good combination? also share if you have any other options.

my concern is handling shouldn't change.

Live like you mean it, then get a bike!

    Query Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Both the front and rear tyre are taller. The handling will definitely change. It will be more front biased, ie, you'll be leaning more.

IMO the Rosso is overkill. It has a aggressively curved profile which means you won't use the thread effectively. Also the 110/70 front costs around 7k. The rear is available, but pirelli stopped importing the 140 here, so wherever you buy from, you'll get 2015 manufactured stock.

Instead you can get the pirelli sport demon in 100/80 size. As for the rear, if you're keen on getting the 140/70, there are umpteen options like the Pirelli sport demon, Michelin pilot Street, MRF Masseter, pirelli angel CT, etc. The rear height will increase, handling will be more front biased and there may be errors in the speed/distance readings.

In the 140/60 you get the Revz M which should be better than the harder stock Revz Y.
