  • Front tyre for Masseter

I own a Yamaha FZ25. Currently at 17k kms and I need to change the tyres, as I feel the need for tyres with better grip. The stock ones will run for another 8k kms, but I'm done with them.

Now, I'm going for 140/70 MRF Masseter in the rear. For the front, I'm confused between two options. One is MRF Zapper FY 110/70 which is a bias ply, costs 1600₹. And the other is Revz FC1 110/70, radial tyre, which costs 2800₹.

Keeping in mind the fact that the Masseter is a multi compound tyre, which of the two options would suit me better and why?

Is it okay to use a radial front tyre with a multi compound rear tyre?

The max speed my motorcycle goes upto is 140km/hr, so will the Zapper FY 110 suffice?

How are the wet grip on both the front tyres? And on the corners as well?

This doubt Has been with me for a while now, and it'll be awesome if you guys could give your inputs.

    Thank you.

      Thank you.
The Revz is better, but it may affect the handling due to its larger width. You can try getting Pirelli Angel CT as well.

In 100/80, you can get the Pirelli Sport Demon.

I'm guessing that the sport demon is softer, more suited for harder riding.
