  • Angel GT (rear) and Rosso III (front)

My Ducati Supersport came with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3 as OEM tyres, and they have been amazing. They warm up quick, are great in wet and superb in dry.
However, my rear tyre is almost done at about 6000 kms, while the front tyre looks like it'll last about 2000-3000 kms more, and I was thinking that I'll change the rear to Angel GT while keeping the front as Rosso 3.

I don't ride very fast, but I do go to those speeds at max acceleration and I brake hard and fast, even while leaned over. Do you think Angel GT will be worth the extra few thousand kms or should I stick with the Rosso 3?
