  • KTM Duke 200 Tyres

    I am using stock MRF Revz 150/60 & 110/70 tyres on my Duke 200. So its time to change my tyres after 13k kms. So need suggestions for good set of tyres

    Usage:
    *High speed cornering
    *Better life
    *Slight good grip on wet

    So please suggest me a good pair of tyres.

      Perhaps you can try the new Apollo Alpha H1 tyres, they've got pretty good reviews.

        Yeh My Friends Had Tried It But It Feels Heavy On The Front End.But The Tyres Are Really Good.I Am In search Of Other Brands Wich Were Not Tried.Like Pirelli,Michelin,Ceat.

          then try michelin at the rear, get the 140/70 instead of the stock 150/60 size.. 150 i feel is one size too big for this bike and over time it will square out and reduce the 'flickability' of this bike.
          front stick to the mrf, not worth the extra you pay for the michelin front.
          i run the mrf+michelin (150) combo currently.

            I Am Looking At This Same Combination But I Want To Know How Michelin Feels On Wet Condition Is It Better Than MRF?

              I dint feel any difference.. both were good in my experience.
              Tire and brake 'reviews' depend a lot on a users riding skill.. some simply blame the tires for their lack of skill/experience.

                But Michelin is 2k Costly Than MRF's So I Am Asking Is It Worth It. if I Spend 2k More On The Michelin?And How Long Kms Will The Michelin Runs?

                  Michelin lasts longer, mine is at 20k km and has enough tread left for at least another 10k km. But as i said the wear pattern is such that the center squares out and becomes very apparent post say around 16 k km. The advantage the michelin has is that is more puncture resistant. The cost is higher on the michelin partly because it is an import from Thailand. So ask yourself if you want to spend 2k extra for a bit of extra life and puncture resistance vs the mrf. Grip wise i did not find a big difference under normal riding conditions (city/highway/rain)
                  You said u wanted to try different brands other mrf, and most except maybe the ceat are usually more expensive. A friend [MENTION=70615]Ajay Vishwanath[/MENTION] recently plonked in the Ceat Rad on his 390 which cost about as much as the mrf and seem to be doing a good job so far (not tested in the wet i guess).
